Role Overview: CT Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures. They acquire and analyze data to support diagnosis and interventional procedures, often assisting licensed practitioners.

- Obtain correct patient identification, ensure proper preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
- Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and care.
- Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and perform prescribed CT exams.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties, aligning with organizational priorities.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and ARRT-CT.
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to safety and quality.
