What You’ll Do
The attorney selected for this role will work on a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including:
- Business and commercial disputes
- Contract disputes
- Corporate and partnership disputes
- Real estate-related litigation
- Fiduciary duty and business tort claims
- Fraud and misrepresentation claims
- Shareholder, member, or ownership disputes
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive litigation documents
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Managing discovery and case deadlines
- Assisting with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Working closely with experienced litigators on case strategy and execution
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- 2–6 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Excellent attention to detail and professional judgment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple litigation deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with complex commercial litigation
- Experience in Florida state court and/or federal court
- Prior experience at a litigation boutique, regional firm, or sophisticated litigation practice
- Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, or trial preparation
- Strong writing sample reflecting substantive litigation experience
