What You’ll Do
The attorney selected for this role will work on a range of complex litigation matters, including:
- Land use and zoning-related litigation
- Real estate and development disputes
- Construction-related disputes
- Commercial litigation involving real property, development, and business issues
- Administrative or quasi-judicial matters, as applicable
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive litigation documents
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Handling discovery, depositions, hearings, and case strategy
- Participating in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Working closely with experienced litigators on sophisticated, high-value disputes
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- 4–8 years of litigation experience
- Experience with land use litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, administrative litigation, or complex commercial litigation
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive litigation documents
- Strong oral advocacy and case management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and professional judgment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a sophisticated litigation practice
- Experience with zoning, development, land use, or real estate-related disputes
- Experience appearing in court, administrative proceedings, or quasi-judicial hearings
- Prior experience at a litigation boutique, regional firm, or sophisticated litigation practice
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
