What You’ll Do
The attorney selected for this role will handle a range of complex commercial litigation matters, including:
- Drafting discovery requests and responses
- Preparing substantive motions in both federal and state court
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Participating in hearings and oral advocacy
- Assisting with case strategy and litigation planning
- Managing discovery and case deadlines
- Working closely with partners and litigation teams on large and complex matters
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- 3–7 years of complex commercial litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong oral advocacy skills
- Experience drafting discovery and substantive motions
- Experience litigating in both Florida state court and federal court
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and professional judgment
- Prior large-case experience
- Prior experience at a law firm with a sophisticated commercial litigation practice
- Experience handling complex business disputes
- Ability to manage multiple litigation deadlines in a fast-paced environment
