Commercial Litigation Attorney

Our client, a well-regarded commercial litigation boutique, is seeking an attorney with 4–8 years of experience (or a more senior attorney with no book required) to join a sophisticated litigation team.

The work is substantive, hands-on, and trial-oriented, with direct access to partners, clients, and complex matters from the outset.

Commercial Litigation Matters Include

• Business and contract disputes
• Lender and financial services litigation
• Fraud-based claims
• Commercial disputes involving complex fact patterns and damages
• State court litigation from inception through trial
  
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drafting and arguing substantive motions, including pre-trial motions
• Taking and defending depositions, including expert witnesses
• Preparing for and participating in trial
• Working closely with multiple partners across a range of matters
• Managing state court litigation with increasing autonomy and responsibility, and working in tandem on federal court matters.
  
  

Prior deposition experience is helpful but not required for more junior candidates. Strong legal writing, analytical ability, and motion practice experience are essential.
