A banking organization in Miami, FL is seeking a polished, relationship-driven Client Relationship Manager to support and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth personal banking clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships, coordinating complex banking services, and working in a highly professional, compliance-focused environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong personal banking, private banking, or international banking experience who can balance client service, business development, operational follow-through, and regulatory responsibilities. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients while also supporting team performance, service quality, and internal collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage, retain, and expand a portfolio of high-net-worth personal banking relationships.
- Deliver a high-touch client experience through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and professional service.
- Serve as a trusted banking resource for clients, helping coordinate solutions related to deposits, lending, treasury-related services, account maintenance, renewals, lines of credit, loans, and time deposits.
- Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and support business development through referrals, networking, prospect meetings, and relationship expansion.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to assigned personal banking staff to promote service quality, operational consistency, accountability, and timely workflow management.
- Assist with training, onboarding, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing for team members within the personal banking area.
- Coordinate account opening, account maintenance, client documentation, and banking service requests while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and validate client documentation related to CIP, CDD, KYC, beneficial ownership, periodic reviews, and other compliance requirements.
- Respond to compliance inquiries, transaction-monitoring alerts, profile exceptions, unusual activity reviews, and other matters requiring follow-up, resolution, or escalation.
- Partner with internal departments, operations, compliance, and head office personnel to support efficient execution of client transactions and banking activities.
- Escalate client, operational, documentation, or compliance matters to management when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, interaction notes, and follow-up details within applicable systems.
- Support departmental goals, service standards, process improvements, and strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
- Travel occasionally, as needed, to meet with existing or prospective clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in personal banking, relationship management, private banking, international banking, or a related financial services role.
- Prior supervisory, team lead, or staff guidance experience within banking or financial services preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, account management, client documentation, and relationship management practices.
- Knowledge of KYC, CIP, CDD, BSA/AML, beneficial ownership, and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with high-net-worth, international, or high-touch personal banking clients strongly preferred.
- Strong business development, client retention, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, internal teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
