Position Summary
Trinity Employment is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team on the night shift. This position provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and special care nursery services. Shift Details
- Full-time, 12-hour Night Shift
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for obstetric and postpartum patients.
- Provide labor support and fetal monitoring throughout the childbirth process.
- Deliver postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations involving maternal and neonatal patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Support patient education and discharge planning.
Float Requirements
Candidates must be willing to float as needed to:
- Medical-Surgical Unit (MS4)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Emergency Department (ER)
- Skilled Nursing Unit
Education & Certifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Within 6 Months of Hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Fetal Monitoring Certification
