Our client, a Plastics & Packaging Distributor is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Sales Manager in the Dallas, TX area to join their team

Location: Dallas, TX (1 day a week remote)

Salary: 100-120K

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or technical school, or an equivalent qualification, is required
• At least three years of relevant experience in sales within the packaging or food sectors
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is required
• Willingness to travel locally, domestically (including overnight), and internationally as needed
• Must be able to drive, and maintain a clean driving record

JOB DUTIES:

• Regularly meet with major clients to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth in line with company objectives
• Develop and carry out short-, mid-, and long-term business strategies, including identifying new revenue opportunities
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and operational performance to improve profitability and overall efficiency
• Prepare detailed sales forecasts, monthly performance comparisons, and reports for management review
• Maintain consistent communication with existing and potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings
• Oversee pricing, proposals, credit terms, and ensure proper approval processes are followed
• Manage order processing, inventory levels, and payment collection while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Work closely with internal teams and staff, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and continuously look for process improvements
