What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Business Systems Analyst – Hybrid position at Tier4 Group?
Salesforce Business Systems Analyst – Hybrid
Location: Hybrid / Atlanta GA
Industry: Sales Enablement / CRM
Tier4 Group is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support our growing Sales Enablement organization. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and Salesforce administration and is critical to reducing delivery bottlenecks between business users and engineering.
This is not a traditional BA role and not a junior Salesforce admin position. We are looking for someone who is confident working inside Salesforce—configuring, prototyping, and validating solutions—while partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do
Salesforce-Focused Responsibilities (Primary)
- Work directly in Salesforce to configure and prototype solutions in lower environments (Dev / Sandbox), including:
- Custom fields and page layouts
- Buttons and quick actions
- Screen and record-triggered flows
- Reports and dashboards
- Support data in / data out activities:
- Data exports
- Bulk updates
- Imports using native tools (e.g., Data Import Wizard, Data Loader)
- Quickly translate business asks into proof-of-concept solutions to validate feasibility and user experience
- Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert for Sales Enablement-related questions
Business Analysis & Enablement
- Partner with a Sales Success / Business Liaison to:
- Clarify requirements
- Recommend Salesforce-based solutions
- Identify gaps and risks early
- Facilitate conversations between business users and technology teams
- Create clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria
- Hand off validated requirements to the engineering team (Deloitte) for QA, UAT, and production deployment
What This Role Is Not
- ❌ Not a pure documentation-only BA role
- ❌ Not a developer or Apex-heavy role
- ❌ Not limited to user provisioning or L1 admin work
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Admin, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or hybrid BA/Admin
- Strong working knowledge of Sales Cloud concepts (leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities)
- Proven ability to configure Salesforce without relying on developers
- Comfortable navigating Salesforce Setup, Flow Builder, and Report Builder without assistance
- Ability to explain Salesforce capabilities clearly to non-technical users
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Sales, Showroom, or Field Operations teams
- Exposure to CRM integrations or awareness of managed packages (no hands-on dev required)
- Experience working with offshore engineering teams
