Responsibilities
- Support operational teams with accounting needs related to asset acquisitions, financing, and sales
- Execute month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of financial reports
- Monitor operating results and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Assist with audits, software enhancements, and other special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of accounting experience, including month-end close and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Previous experience working with fixed assets
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- CPA or prior experience in rental/asset-heavy environments preferred, but not required
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
