The Keller Group is looking for an Accountant for our growing, established client in the construction and real estate industry. As an Accountant, you play a key role in the success of each assigned project by ensuring financial accuracy and supporting your project team from kickoff through closeout. Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, set up new projects, prepare accurate monthly job cost reports and support project teams with accounting guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, prepare and submit monthly AIA billings, monitor payment status and follow up to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare AGC/AIA summary change orders and support Project Management with accurate and timely change order documentation.
- Prepare and distribute Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Change Orders; track lien notices, joint check agreements, insurance and licensing for compliance.
- Review and process subcontractor pay applications and general invoices, ensure all required documentation is complete and maintain positive relationships with subcontractor representatives.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in construction accounting, project accounting, cost accounting or corporate accounting.
- Understanding of AIA billing, job cost accounting, AP/AR, or contract review.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and strong organization skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
