Controller

This is a high-visibility role ideal for either an experienced Controller or an Assistant Controller/Director of Financial Reporting ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a growing accounting team, with an emphasis on mentorship and career development.
  

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  

• Direct the year-end audit and maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  

• Oversee management reporting, primarily focused on balance sheet and cash flow.
  

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure accounting supports business needs and strategic growth.
  

Requirements

• CPA required.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  

• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
  

• Strong technical accounting background with experience in audits, month-end close, and internal controls.
  

• Experience with inventory and fixed assets preferred, but not required.
  

• Exposure to SOX, internal control frameworks, or public company readiness a plus.
  

• Collaborative, approachable leadership style with the ability to build trust and foster team growth.
  

• Excellent organizational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.
