This is a high-visibility role ideal for either an experienced Controller or an Assistant Controller/Director of Financial Reporting ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a growing accounting team, with an emphasis on mentorship and career development.
Oversee and manage the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Direct the year-end audit and maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Oversee management reporting, primarily focused on balance sheet and cash flow.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure accounting supports business needs and strategic growth.
Requirements
CPA required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
Strong technical accounting background with experience in audits, month-end close, and internal controls.
Experience with inventory and fixed assets preferred, but not required.
Exposure to SOX, internal control frameworks, or public company readiness a plus.
Collaborative, approachable leadership style with the ability to build trust and foster team growth.
Excellent organizational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.
