What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at The Bolton Group?
A rapidly growing project-based industrial services organization in Fort Worth is looking to add an Accountant to its expanding finance team following a major acquisition by a publicly traded company.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant transformation and growth, with strong exposure to operational accounting, financial reporting, and SOX compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial analysis
- Month-end and year-end close support
- General ledger maintenance and reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Sales & Use Tax filings and audit support
- Budgeting and forecasting assistance
- Partnering cross-functionally with operations and internal departments
- Supporting internal controls, SOX compliance, and process improvement initiatives
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Experience in project-based industries strongly preferred (manufacturing, construction, engineering, industrial services, etc.)
- Public accounting or SOX experience is a major plus
- CPA and Acumatica experience are both nice-to-haves
- Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Hybrid Schedule: Preference for 4 days onsite / 1 day remote (potential flexibility for longer commutes)
Compensation: $85K–$100K
