Senior Cost Accountant – Multi-Site Manufacturing (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a growing, acquisition-minded manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Cost Accountant supporting multiple production facilities across U.S. locations.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role reporting to the Controller, with responsibility for cost accounting activities across several manufacturing sites.

Location Options

This role can be based out of any of the following locations:

• Wisconsin
• Missouri
• Illinois

Hybrid schedule: ~2 days in office

Light travel (~10%) across sites

Role Overview

The Senior Cost Accountant will serve as the primary accounting partner supporting manufacturing operations across all sites, ensuring accurate cost tracking, inventory accounting, and financial reporting within a growing, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting activities across several manufacturing locations
• Support standard cost development, variance analysis, and reporting
• Maintain and analyze inventory accounting and valuation
• Partner with operations to improve cost visibility and efficiency
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Work within ERP systems
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements across sites

What We’re Looking For

• 4 years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with multi-site or multi-entity environments a plus
• ERP experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and partner with operations
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
