What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Procurement Manager – Indirect Categories position at The Bolton Group?
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, national organization to help build out their corporate Procurement function—and they’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to take ownership of key indirect spend categories. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll have the opportunity to build processes from the ground up, drive measurable cost savings, and partner directly with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end procurement across indirect categories such as:
- Facilities, construction, and real estate
- Office supplies and retail operations
- Maintenance, utilities, and services
- Lead the full sourcing lifecycle:
- RFPs / RFIs
- Vendor selection & management
- Contract negotiations
- Develop and implement category strategies
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive ROI across categories
- Help establish and scale procurement processes, tools, and best practices
Requirements
- 7 years of procurement experience
- 3–5 years in category management (indirect spend)
- Proven experience leading RFPs end-to-end
- Strong background in managing vendors, contracts, and supplier relationships
- Comfortable working with senior leadership (VP/C-level)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, build environment

- Competitive base ($100K - $125K) bonus
