Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Krum, TX. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the company's financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include monitoring financial transactions, preparing tax filings, providing financial analysis and recommendations, and collaborating with other departments to optimize financial practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience in using accounting software and financial management tools
- Attention to detail, accuracy in reconciliations, and adeptness in managing financial data
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
- Relevant experience in accounting roles; prior experience in the commercial or construction industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Viewpoint Spectrum ERP
