About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations for a busy construction and manufacturing facility near Leesburg, FL. This onsite role manages financial processes from payroll to month-end close, supporting an $18M operation in a collaborative, laid-back environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle accounting for the Leesburg plant (~$18M operation)
• Manage month-end close, ensuring all job costs align and reconcile
• Oversee payables and invoice matching, reviewing weekly for accuracy
• Approve payroll via ADP every Monday morning
• Collaborate with the AR/AP team to maintain smooth financial operations
• Use Acumatica, Concrete Vision, and Procore for accounting and project management
• Assist with HR tasks (onboarding, employee forms, basic employee relations)
• Support annual audit prep and transition responsibilities to new hires when needed

What They Are Looking For

• 5 years of accounting experience (construction or manufacturing preferred)
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and cost management
• Experience with Acumatica, ADP, Concrete Vision, or Procore is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (experience considered in lieu)
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a positive, flexible attitude
