HR Generalist – Growing Construction Company (Onsite in Medford, OR)

Our client, a rapidly growing construction company in Medford, OR, is looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join their team onsite. This is a key role supporting employees, strengthening company culture, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across HR, payroll coordination, compliance, and office administration.

What You’ll Do
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general benefit questions
- Manage annual benefits open enrollment and related communications
- Oversee union labor compliance and reporting
- Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll coordination with accounting
- Handle employee relations matters and help foster a positive, people-focused culture
- Administer performance review processes and maintain documentation
- Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Support employee engagement initiatives and companywide events
- Ensure accurate and confidential employee records and compliance documentation
- Coordinate employee training, certifications, and compliance-based programs
- Oversee daily office operations as the primary administrative point of contact
- Manage office supplies, vendors, purchasing, and administrative systems
- Coordinate IT needs with internal teams and external providers
- Oversee front desk/reception and ensure a positive office experience
- Manage incoming calls, mail, deliveries, and general office communication
- Support executives with scheduling and administrative tasks
- Manage facilities, workspace planning, and maintenance coordination
- Administer company technology assets, including cell phones, laptops, and hardware
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of HR or administrative experience
- Experience with Mider and BambooHR
- Friendly, outgoing, respectful, and approachable demeanor
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable
- Coachable and collaborative attitude
Nice to Have:
