Process Engineer – Manufacturing (Onsite | $85K–$100K)
We are partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturing organization to identify a Process Engineer to support and improve production processes within a highly automated plant environment.
This is a hands-on, plant-facing role focused on process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and production targets
- Analyze process performance metrics (yield, cycle time, scrap, etc.) and implement root cause solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, SPC, and process optimization techniques
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing methods
- Support implementation and validation of process changes and equipment improvements
- Assist with evaluation of new equipment, tooling, and process upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Deliver technical documentation and continuously improve work instructions and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, or related)
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on experience supporting shop floor operations and process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement tools
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and working with production processes
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Location: Hartsville, SC
- Schedule: Onsite (5 days/week)
- Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 base salary
- Full-time, permanent opportunity
