Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Hartsville, SC. This is an on-site role ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys hands-on work, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting complex industrial systems.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide input into the purchase, modification, and improvement of equipment
- Represent the Electrical discipline on cross-functional project teams
- Write purchase orders (POs) and non-stock requests; manage cost, schedule, and performance for electrical project components
- Complete standard engineering and design work for equipment installations and retrofits
- Provide day-to-day equipment and troubleshooting support to Maintenance teams
- Support and coordinate Electrical Technicians as needed
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Required Experience & Qualification
- Four-year college degree with 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment OR two-year degree with 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial
- Experience troubleshooting facilities’ power system
- Experience with industrial controls wiring and industrial network troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI systems (Allen-Bradley or Siemens
- Working knowledge of MCCs, low-voltage distribution, and drive system
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system
- Working knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and other governing code
- Proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Office Suit
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a production-oriented environment
