About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing high-performing teams and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee production and assembly operations to meet business objectives
- Manage and develop a team of supervisors and production personnel
- Drive production planning and scheduling based on demand and capacity
- Monitor and improve KPIs including safety, throughput, takt time, OTIF, and labor efficiency
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure effective material flow, inventory accuracy, and FIFO compliance
- Partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering to avoid disruptions
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) for production execution and reporting
- Maintain accuracy of BOMs, routings, and work center data
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Provide clear communication and performance updates to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or assembly operations
- Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and cost drivers
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven success in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
