Role Description:
Seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join a sophisticated litigation practice handling complex, high-value disputes and class actions. This role offers immediate hands-on experience with substantive litigation responsibilities, including depositions, motion practice, discovery management, trial preparation, and appellate work.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced litigators on high-stakes matters, taking ownership of key aspects of cases while receiving direct mentorship and significant client exposure. This position is ideal for an attorney seeking rapid professional growth in a challenging and intellectually rigorous environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-14 law school or top 5% of graduating class
- Admitted or eligible for admission to the Florida, New York, or Massachusetts Bar
- Federal district or appellate court clerkship experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting motions, legal memoranda, and complex litigation documents
- Strong academic credentials, including law review, moot court, or similar distinctions, are preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage significant responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to excellence
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and argue dispositive and pretrial motions
- Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
- Develop and execute discovery strategies
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
- Manage case workflow and client communications
- Support appellate briefing and oral argument preparation
