Job Title: Service Technician(Commercial HVAC)
Location: Manassas, VA
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and startup of HVAC and building systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, field service experience, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
- Respond to service calls and complete on-site repairs/startups.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Communicate repair recommendations and findings to customers.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, controls).
- Field service and customer-facing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
Preferred
- EPA Section 608 Certification.
- HVAC Technician License or related certifications.
- Experience with RTUs, chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV systems, and BAS controls.
- Technical or vocational HVAC training.
