We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates across all project stages and support competitive bid submissions, including federal projects. This role involves close coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure precise pricing, scope alignment, and risk evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from concept to final design
- Analyze subcontractor/vendor bids and manage RFIs and scope clarifications
- Interpret RFP/RFQ documents and support compliant bid submissions (FAR/DFARS preferred)
- Identify risks, develop pricing strategies, and provide value engineering options
- Support preconstruction planning, schedules, and bid documentation
Qualifications
- 4 years of construction estimating experience or relevant training
- Proficiency in estimating tools and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Federal project experience preferred
