CNC Programmer / Mold Maker — Injection Molding

Location: Gallaway, TN (On-site)

Type: Full-time


About the Role

Lead CNC programming and mold design/repair for plastic injection molds, jigs, and fixtures. You’ll program toolpaths, redesign components for longevity, and drive continuous improvement in a busy tooling group.


What You’ll Do

  • Program CNC mills/lathes/EDM (Mastercam/SolidWorks preferred)
  • Perform mold design, repair, and improvements; reverse engineering
  • Plan sequences/operations; estimate cycle/process time
  • Create and maintain CNC files/data; train peers on CNC basics
  • Collaborate with production planning and engineering on standards


Must-Haves

  • 5 years in plastic injection molds (design/repair)
  • 5 years on CNC equipment (mills, lathes, EDM)
  • 5 years CNC programming (Mastercam/SolidWorks/UG)
  • CAD/CAM proficiency; strong manufacturing math; on-site availability


Work Environment

Loud manufacturing environment; hearing PPE required; exposure to moving mechanical parts/fumes/heat.
