We're hiring an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join a growing team in Fayetteville, AR! If you have experience estimating water, sewer, earthwork, grading, and site development projects, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
- Estimate costs for water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, grading, excavation, and underground utilities.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to construction.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with bid submissions.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
- Experience with water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, grading, and site utility projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software such as AGTEK is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
