Role Description The Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Springdale, AR. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and medical construction projects, including reviewing plans and specifications and performing quantity takeoffs. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing subcontractor and supplier bids, developing budgets, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to refine scope and pricing. The Estimator will prepare bid proposals, maintain cost databases, and assist in value engineering to ensure projects are competitive, accurate, and aligned with client expectations. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet bid deadlines and support overall business development efforts.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in construction estimating, including quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation for commercial, industrial, or medical facilities.
- Strong technical skills with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage, Bluebeam), Microsoft Excel, and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and subcontractor scopes of work.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills for working with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple estimates and deadlines.
- Relevant experience as an Estimator or in a related construction project role; experience with general contracting is preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Springdale, AR and visit job sites as required.
