We are seeking an experienced Fisher Plow Technician to perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Fisher snow plow equipment. The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience working on plows in a shop environment and strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair Fisher plow systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and a clean work area.
- Complete repair documentation and accurately track labor, parts, and materials.
- Participate in manufacturer training programs and follow all safety procedures.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience servicing and repairing Fisher plows is required.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and basic welding/fabrication skills.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read schematics, assembly diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
