The Database Administrator will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team. The
duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be
substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.

The Database Administrator will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team. The
duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Establish, maintain, and apply the quality assurance techniques and processes that will optimize
- Participate in the disaster recovery of the enterprise data environments;
- Establish and maintain the quality, accuracy, reliability, validity, precision, and integrity of the data
- Develop and maintain the enterprise data model and data dictionary;
- Assist in the analysis of proposed data elements to be added to the database structures and
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise data
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the data replication processes;
- Interface closely with application programming staff on all aspects of data element access required of
- Ensure new elements meet the desired standards of the data structure and do not threaten the
- Provides lead support in various database activities to support ongoing operations. Duties include
status reports;
- Will further new and innovative ideas for the Department to utilize technology and achieve cost savings
- Technical lead for all database activities and is responsible for training lower-level positions in
Language (SQL) database activities.
Required Qualifications

The Department requires the following experience, skills, and knowledge for this position:
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience with IBM's DB2 database, including skills in creating,
- At least three (3) years of experience working in an Azure environment and utilizing cloud-native
- A minimum of five (5) years of prior experience with the Department;
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervising teams of at least 1-3 staff;
- A minimum of five (5) years of SQL experience from version 2012 and higher; and
- A minimum of five (5) years working in a government environment, preferably with prior Department of
