Job Description:
Technical Skill Requirements:
- We are seeking a technician with experience in assembly/disassembly work and experience with hand tools.
- The technician will be working under the direction of engineers, scientists, and senior technicians doing work of varying degrees of precision (some high precision).
- The ability to read drawings, follow written assembly procedures (including data-entry of completed tasks of those procedures), and use a PC with MS Word & Excel.
- Grinding, cutting, soldering and lifting of up to 40lbs may be required.
Physical Activity and Work Conditions:
- The technician must have the ability to lift 40 pounds, perform repetitive lifting of moderate weight, ability to climb stairs and ladders and stand for up to 4 hours per day and be able to work with epoxies, solvents, glues and other chemicals.
- The technician must have the ability and willingness to work occasional overtime on short notice in response to operation and emergency requirements.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
