Recruitment Consultant – Energy & Engineering (Contracts Desk)

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Energy & Engineering contracts team.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing desk focused on infrastructure, power, utilities, and engineering-led energy projects, working alongside experienced leaders while developing your own market and client base.
You’ll play a key role in supporting client delivery, building contractor networks, and contributing to the overall growth of the desk, with a clear pathway to step into a more senior, revenue-owning role over time.
What You’ll Do
- Support and develop client relationships across energy, utilities, infrastructure, and engineering markets
- Source, engage, and manage contract candidates for live roles
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of contractors aligned to client demand
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from qualification through to placement
- Assist with contract negotiations, extensions, and redeployments
- Ensure accurate data management across CRM and internal systems
- Work closely with senior team members to learn commercial strategy and desk management
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience (contracts or perm)
- Exposure to technical, engineering, or energy markets is a plus (not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with a desire to develop business development skills
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated by performance, progression, and earning potential
