talisman is retained by a fast-growing firm as they go-to-market for a Project Engineer to lead the front end of project development, turning customer opportunities into technically sound, commercially viable energy solutions. Working across business development, engineering, and delivery teams, you'll scope projects, develop proposals, and support customers through the early stages before handing projects over for execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical and commercial development of on-site energy projects.
- Conduct site assessments and develop conceptual system designs, preliminary equipment sizing, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Build energy production and savings models to support customer proposals and investment decisions.
- Identify applicable incentives, tax credits, rebates, permitting requirements, and utility interconnection pathways.
- Partner with business development to create competitive, technically robust proposals.
- Coordinate with delivery, asset management, contractors, and engineering partners to ensure projects are executable.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout the proposal phase.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering.
- 9 years' experience in energy project engineering across distributed energy, renewables or conventional power generation.
- Understanding of project development from feasibility through early-stage design.
- Knowledge of project finance fundamentals and federal, state, and utility incentive programs.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
