This role offers the chance to lead quality control efforts within a high‑tech microelectronics environment, ensuring products meet stringent purity and engineering standards while supporting sustainable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute day‑to‑day quality control activities for microelectronics products.
- Assist the QC Manager in developing detailed quality control plans, processes, and procedures for engineering and subcontractors.
- Create comprehensive inspection test plans aligned with project quality requirements.
- Monitor and control all inspections and tests conducted for project builds.
- Manage scheduling of inspections and issue Non‑Conformance Reports promptly.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of build documentation prior to production.
- Collaborate proactively with project teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Travel to supplier sites to perform QC inspections (20‑25% travel).
Must-Have Skills:
- 3 years of QC experience with welding and steel products in oil & gas, aerospace, or water treatment equipment.
- Experience with high‑purity products for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes (B31.1, B31.3) and AWS D1.1, ASTM standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, dimensions, and welding documents (WPS, PQR, WQTR).
- Ability to use inspection tools and generate accurate QC reports.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles.
- Competence with Adobe Acrobat, MS Office suite, and data reporting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bluebeam software expertise.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential from AWS.
