Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge, MN. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test activities to ensure the reliability and quality of CMM software and systems supporting machining and production operations. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining test cases, performing manual testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes. The Quality Assurance Engineer will monitor quality metrics, support root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position also involves maintaining test documentation and ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and CMM Programming skills, with an understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Test Execution and Manual Testing skills to validate functionality and performance.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design, document, and manage Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Experience with defect tracking tools, test management systems, and QA documentation is beneficial.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
