Taldeco is looking for a Tool and Die Technician in Smyrna, TN!
Full-time, Hourly Role.
2nd and 3rd shift.
50-60hours a week.
Pay: $28-37 hourly depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and extensive maintenance on dies, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
Rebuild die sections, perform repairs, and replace worn-out components to ensure optimal functionality.
Retrim and adjust pads, forms, and other die elements to maintain precise tolerances and performance.
Set up and calibrate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, Blanchard grinders, and surface grinders.
Lift, position, and secure machine parts and workpieces onto surface plates or work tables using appropriate lifting equipment.
Smooth, grind, and polish both flat and contoured surfaces to achieve desired fit and finish.
