Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain dies
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with dies and tooling
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect dies for damage or wear
- Perform necessary repairs, modifications, and adjustments to ensure proper functioning
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Utilize a surface grinder to grind die components to specifications
- Collaborate with toolmakers and engineers to improve die performance
- Complete detailed repair reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool and die repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools, grinders, and other precision equipment
- Strong understanding of die components and functions
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
