We are hiring a Technical Support Specialist to drive technical operations for an advanced electromagnetic product line.
If you bring a strong mechanical background and enjoy technical troubleshooting, this contract-to-hire role gives you direct ownership over critical customer support and order processing. You will serve as the primary technical contact for distributors, plant operators, and field contractors across the country.
What You'll Own
- Resolve incoming technical support calls and emails by applying systematic troubleshooting steps.
- Process day-to-day product orders, issue price quotes, and verify inventory availability.
- Manage warranty claims, track return authorizations, and coordinate replacement shipments with the warehouse team.
- Train distributors on technical product features and assist in developing guides or webinar materials.
- Update product installation manuals, spec sheets, and technical literature using engineering resources and AI tools.
What You Bring
Must Haves
- 5 years of technical support or hands-on troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
- Proven ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical or fluid systems.
- Clear English verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Haves
- Prior experience in pumps, valves, flow meters, HVAC, or the water treatment industry.
- Background in field service, industrial maintenance, technical inside sales, or military mechanical systems.
