Senior Accounts Payable Analyst

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing organization in the manufacturing/food production space for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to own the AP function end-to-end, high-volume invoice processing, vendor relationships, reconciliations, and month-end close, while mentoring junior staff and driving process automation.
What you'll do
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices (ACH, wire, check), ensuring accuracy, coding, and policy compliance
- Manage AP aging, resolve discrepancies and PO mismatches
- Perform monthly GL reconciliations, AP accruals, and support month/quarter/year-end close
- Own vendor onboarding (W-9s, tax docs) and vendor relationship management
- Support annual 1099 reporting and audit requests
- Identify automation opportunities and lead ERP enhancement projects
- Mentor AP Specialists and build reporting dashboards
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 5 years progressive AP/Accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- ERP experience (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Manufacturing, agriculture, or food production industry experience a plus
