Overview
We are partnering with a well-established, multi-unit QSR brand to identify a Vice President of Supply Chain. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain strategy across a national footprint, with direct influence on cost, quality, and operational performance.
This position is based in Southern California (South Bay) and requires regular in-office presence.
Position Summary
The VP of Supply Chain will oversee procurement, sourcing, distribution, logistics, and supplier management across both company-owned and franchise operations.
This leader will be instrumental in driving margin improvement, ensuring product consistency, and building scalable, resilient supply chain systems.
We are seeking a hands-on, operationally focused executive who understands the pace, complexity, and margin pressures of the QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead procurement, sourcing, and vendor negotiations to drive cost efficiencies without compromising quality
- Oversee distribution networks and 3PL partners to ensure consistent, on-time delivery across all locations
- Build and manage strong supplier partnerships, including performance standards and risk mitigation strategies
- Drive demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization to reduce waste and improve availability
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership
- Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Own key financial metrics, including food cost, logistics spend, and supply chain-related P&L components
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within QSR, restaurant, or food service
- Proven success supporting high-volume, multi-unit operations
- Strong background in vendor negotiations, distribution, and cost optimization
- Experience with perishable supply chains and food safety regulations
- Exposure to both company-owned and franchise systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional partners
- Strong analytical, financial, and operational acumen
- Bachelor’s degree required
