Vice President of Supply Chain
Southern California (South Bay – Onsite)
$180,000 – $200,000 Base Bonus
Location: Southern California (Onsite)
A well-established, multi-unit restaurant brand to identify a Vice President of Supply Chain. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing and executing the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy across a growing restaurant network.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically—owning procurement, distribution, and supplier relationships while ensuring seamless execution at the store level.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Partner with executive leadership on risk management, cost control, and growth initiatives
- Build scalable processes, systems, and team structure
Procurement & Cost Management
- Lead sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management
- Monitor commodity markets and manage cost of goods (COGS)
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Culinary on product sourcing
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee distribution networks, 3PL partners, and supplier performance
- Ensure consistent, on-time delivery of product across all locations
- Support commissary and production needs as applicable
Operations & Execution
- Ensure uninterrupted product flow to all restaurant locations
- Support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
- Drive improvements in forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment
Quality & Food Safety
- Maintain vendor quality assurance programs and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Address and resolve supply or quality issues as needed
Systems & Analytics
- Lead supply chain systems, reporting, and data visibility initiatives
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a small but growing supply chain team
- Operate as a hands-on leader with the ability to scale the function over time
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
- Multi-unit restaurant or QSR experience required
- Proven ownership of procurement, supplier management, and distribution
- Strong background in cost control, vendor negotiations, and logistics
- Experience supporting store-level operations in a multi-unit environment
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred
