POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the company’s end-to-end supply chain across a multi-unit restaurant environment. This role drives procurement, distribution, quality, and systems to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with company growth
- Advise executive leadership on risks, commodity trends, and opportunities
- Build scalable processes, systems, and team structure
- Ownership of budget planning, forecasting, and long-range financial strategy.
Procurement & Cost Management
- Lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization
- Monitor commodity markets and manage COGS
- Partner with Culinary and Operations on product sourcing
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners
- Ensure reliable, on-time delivery to all locations
- Support commissary and production needs
Quality & Food Safety
- Maintain vendor QA programs and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Resolve supply and quality issues as needed
Operations & Execution
- Ensure uninterrupted supply across all locations
- Support product launches and promotions
- Improve inventory, forecasting, and replenishment
Systems & Analytics
- Lead supply chain systems and reporting
- Improve visibility, forecasting, and decision-making
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop supply chain team
- Operate as a hands-on leader
- Build team capability to support growth
COMPETENCY/SKILLS:
- Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Effective communicator and cross-functional leader
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct oversight of the Supply Chain Director and Manager; responsible for future team growth.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While working at the Support Center, the Supply Chain Manager typically works in an office environment, and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties, except for travel to the store locations. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. The Supply Chain Manager may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
This role is based on-site in Torrance, CA and may require travel. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While at the Support Center, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of supply chain leadership experience
- Multi-unit restaurant or QSR experience required
- Strong procurement, logistics, and supplier management background
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
