What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative (Reception Desk) position at Sunrise?
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities include; include answering and routing of incoming calls, taking messages and providing information when necessary. Maintains the Bank lobby area, greets and directs all clients, visitors, job candidates and vendors. Places outbound phone calls to clients to gain updated contact information and updates internal records. Performs safe deposit access and assists with dual control for teller line team also assists staff as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answers phones and greets customers portraying the service culture of Sunrise Banks. Provides customer assistance to meet customers’ needs.
- Assists customers with account questions and problems or directs customers to the appropriate department.
- Be knowledgeable of safe deposit policies and procedures to assist customers.
- Maintain Lobby area, ensuring all brochures are stocked.
- Responsible for coffee bar duties, if applicable (Como and Washington only) makes cookies and various other coffee drinks for our guests, including maintaining adequate supplies.
- Maintain the lobby area of the Bank making sure it creates a welcoming environment.
- Coordinates the location’s mail.
- Manages the courier runs from and to bank location and the Holding Company, collecting and distributing all the necessary items.
- Provides support for promotional events as needed.
- Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned by various departments of the Bank.
- Coordinates ordering of bank supplies.
- Assist departments throughout the bank location with special projects and functions.
- Maintain vendor logs.
- Performs notary services and account updates for clients, as needed.
- Responsible for issuing debit cards to clients.
- All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school degree or GED Required
- One (1) year customer service experience required.
- Experience in the financial industry beneficial.
- Experience with the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The expected starting annualized salary range is between: $41,600 – 55,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
