Job Title: Distribution Manager

Pay Rate: $55–$57/hour (W2)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Location: Onsite – Lithia Springs, GA 30122

Travel Requirement: Two-week training at Moreno Valley Distribution Center

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams, optimize processes, and consistently meet operational goals in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enforce all safety programs to maintain a secure work environment
• Review forecasts and determine labor requirements to meet operational objectives
• Conduct daily team meetings to balance labor and ensure efficient shift performance
• Promote continuous improvement and eliminate non-value-added activities
• Ensure proper training and development of staff to meet customer demand
• Mentor, motivate, and support hourly workforce
• Oversee receiving, inventory management, packaging, and timely shipping of materials and finished goods
• Maintain quality standards while adhering to budget and delivery timelines
• Manage inventory control processes to ensure material accountability
• Establish effective communication strategies to align team goals with organizational objectives
• Develop and refine operational procedures and recommend process improvements
• Maintain documentation and prepare performance reports
• Set and manage individual and team goals aligned with departmental targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and field personnel to resolve issues
• Manage product traceability systems using WMS/Oracle platforms
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and regular maintenance of warehouse equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Proven experience implementing inventory control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations in warehousing and shipping environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Oracle or similar supply chain/logistics systems
• Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems
