Leasing Consultant - Apartment Community (Full-Time)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a Saturday rotation and variable day off when working Saturdays
Location: Canton, Georgia
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our apartment community team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, knows how to build relationships, and has the confidence to actively pursue and close leases while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
We are seeking someone who is proactive, organized, energetic, and comfortable taking initiative. The right candidate understands that successful leasing is more than giving tours but also about consistent follow-up, strong communication, relationship building, and creating a welcoming experience for both prospects and residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct apartment tours and confidently close leases
- Follow up consistently with leads through calls, emails, and texts
- Build genuine relationships with prospective and current residents
- Maintain strong occupancy goals and leasing performance
- Assist with resident retention and renewal efforts
- Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries and resident concerns
- Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitor pricing
- Help develop and execute marketing ideas and outreach efforts
- Attend local networking opportunities and chamber/community events to promote the property
- Participate in at least two resident activities/events each month
- Maintain a professional, upbeat, and welcoming office environment
- Assist with social media and community marketing efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing required
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Confident, personable, and self-motivated
- Ability to build rapport quickly with a variety of personalities
- Organized and able to manage multiple leads and responsibilities
- Comfortable networking and representing the community in public settings
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Proficient with basic computer systems and leasing software
