Position Details
- Location: Penn Manor High School
- Pay: Starting at $15.25 per hour
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
- Schedule: Follows the Penn Manor School District calendar, including school holidays and breaks.
Responsibilities
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide one-on-one support to help a student safely and successfully participate in the school day. Duties may include:
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Supporting mobility and participation in classroom activities
- Encouraging independence while providing appropriate assistance
- Working closely with teachers and school staff to support student success
- Maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
Important Information
This position includes assisting with personal hygiene and toileting as part of providing respectful, dignified care for the student. Candidates should be comfortable performing these essential responsibilities while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and the student's privacy and dignity.
