Accounting Manager | Raleigh, NC
A well-established, multi-specialty medical group in the Raleigh/Triangle area is hiring an Accounting Manager to help build out a scalable finance function as the organization grows.
This role partners closely with the Director of Finance and oversees a small accounting team, with hands-on responsibility for daily cash posting, bank reconciliations, monthly financial reporting by division, provider compensation calculations, and month-end close support across a multi-entity structure.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly financial reports, partner practice fees, and provider compensation
- Manage daily cash posting, bank deposits, and reconciliations
- Oversee AP/AR staff and daily accounting operations across multiple entities/divisions
- Partner with Revenue Cycle on payment posting issues
- Monitor location-level spending and identify cost efficiencies
- Support annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations
- Help establish scalable accounting policies and department structure
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of general accounting experience
- Leadership/team management experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong GAAP knowledge; healthcare industry background a plus
- CPA and/or MBA a plus
Logistics: Fully onsite for the first 30-60 days, then a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office).
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
