StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a fantastic Senior Accountant opportunity with an Austin, Texas based company.
Reporting to the Controller, this position supports the GL accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, sales and use tax compliance, bank reporting, and audit activities.
This role will be involved in the following:
- General Ledger & Month-End Close
- Fixed Assets
- Sales & Use Tax Compliance
- Bank Reporting & Compliance
- Audit & Tax Support
- Process Improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Retail or multi-location accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
