Position Summary:
This position involves day-to-day responsibilities that require independent judgment and discretion, contributing to the department’s ongoing success.
Essential Functions & Basic Duties:

Ensure that all work product meets or exceeds client expectations
Work collaboratively and independently with producers and clients to service existing and new accounts
Evaluate existing coverage and make recommendations to clients as needed
Responsible for compiling and managing information regarding account renewal, rounding and cross-sell opportunities
Adherence, compliance and full utilization of all technology tools (i.e. TAM, EPIC, Outlook)
Ensuring that all relevant documents are attached to EPIC
Updating policy applications as needed assuring that all are accurate and current
Achieve objectives and goals as implemented
Meet service and sales delivery standards
Perform essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by SterlingRisk
Mentor Team Associates
May be assigned special projects from time to time
Service and monitor assigned accounts
Provide/coordinate technical and other support to Account Executive, producer, and clients
Oversee work assigned to Team Associate
Schedule and attend client meetings
Coordinate renewal strategy meetings
Track renewal timeframes to ensure that all are aware of pending dates
Complete and submit applications to marketing and/or carriers; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies in accordance with renewal/expiration list procedures
Process required supplemental applications and appropriate excess lines forms
Ensure the accuracy of binders, certificates, policies, audits, endorsements, and other related items
Determine and implement appropriate billing/financing and processes
Order, issues, and verify accuracy of proposals completed by others, prepare proposals as directed by account executive, summaries of insurance, schedules, binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, audits and other related items
Process renewals according to agency procedures
Act independently when managing and servicing assigned accounts during renewal meetings with clients; includes strategy determination, marketing and carrier negotiations
Review policy audits; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections as needed
Identify exposure to loss; recommend appropriate coverage
Process incoming mail, e-mail and telephone requests; respond promptly and appropriately
Analyze requests for cancellations; acts accordingly to retain accounts
Any other duties as requested by management
Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
Interact with others effectively by utilizing good oral and written communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of SterlingRisk

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC
Knowledge of insurance products, coverages and usage
Knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets
Possess exceptional oral, written, and communication skills
Detail orientated with strong organizational and presentation skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures to proficiently manage and complete insurance tasks associated with the variables of the aviation business
Ability to recommend solutions and options, and communicate these options both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner
Understanding of client servicing expectations and ability to meet objectives to excel in client servicing procedures and goals
Continuing education as required by license
Pursuit of insurance designations
Education and Work Experience:
College Degree with a minimum of two years’ experience; or
a minimum of five years insurance experience preferred
Property & Casualty Broker License
Experience with EPIC or Applied preferred

Salary:
The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 – $90,000 annually, plus benefits, and can vary based on location.
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
