Position Summary:
This position involves day-to-day responsibilities that require independent judgment and discretion, contributing to the department’s claims handling success.
Essential Functions & Basic Duties:

Oversee a book of business inclusive of Commercial &, as applicable, Personal lines claims
Serve as a liaison between the Client, Carrier, Account Executive and Producer on claims related issues
Attend strategy meetings on servicing the account as well as attend in person renewal meetings with Producers and Account Executives
Client advocacy in interaction with carriers on claim related matters
Maintain relationships and communications with carriers and clients
Prepare and present claim reviews and action plans to clients
Review and process new claim reports and court decisions
Support claims process through research, expertise and internal and external communications
Participate in trainings and educational presentations to augment knowledge on emerging/relevant claims handling and coverage related issues.
Supervisory Duties:
No specific supervisory responsibilities, but frequently required to instruct Claims Administrator on the submission of claims and which lines of business are applicable.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Computer skills and proficiency with tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC
Strong interpersonal, decision-making, strategic planning and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of insurance coverages and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years in insurance industry adjusting claims
P&C Broker’s License

Salary:
The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 – $110,000 annually, plus benefits, and can vary based on location.
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
