A well-regarded, litigation boutique in Dallas, TX is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3-20 years of experience to join their growing team. The firm handles complex commercial disputes including breach of contract, business torts, fraud, ERISA litigation, labor and employment, construction, and legal malpractice defense across state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters in Texas state courts and the United States District Courts, particularly the Northern District of Texas
- Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and summary judgment briefing
- Prepare cases for trial including witness preparation, exhibit development, and pretrial motions
- Appear in court for hearings, status conferences, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic guidance and case updates
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and firm leadership on high-exposure matters
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and dispositive motions
Qualifications
- 3-20 years of commercial litigation experience
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- Admission to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas preferred
- Strong federal and Texas procedural knowledge
- Demonstrated experience preparing cases for trial including motion practice and summary judgment
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a sophisticated caseload with direct client contact

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 and $225,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
